From Luxe Talent, International Recruitment and Training Consultancy specialising in Fashion, Luxury, Retail and FMCG, we are managing for one of our clients, Fashion Brand, the figure of Designer - Personal Assistant in their office in Amsterdam.
In our recruitment and training consultancy we work with different firms in the Luxury, Premium and High Premium sectors around Europe and we have offices in Ámsterdam, Barcelona, Berlín, Braga, Londres, Madrid, Milán, París and Zúrich.
The Designer - Personal Assistant will be responsible for developing the styles of the pieces, together with a senior stylist/designer, elaborating sketches and designing collections according to trend analysis participating simultaneously in the technical development process of the product.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct visual research and create moodboards, inspiration sources, trend analyses, and material references.
Support product development: follow prototypes, organize fittings, assist with simple alterations, and prepare technical files.
Communicate with pattern makers, embroiderers, suppliers, artisans, and atelier teams.
Manage materials: fabric sourcing, requesting samples, and organizing the fabric and trim inventory.
Assist in collection development: follow the studio calendar, organize looks, and prepare the showroom.
Excellent organization and time-management skills.
Strong aesthetic and visual sensibility; ability to understand the designer’s creative vision.
High versatility, able to balance administrative tasks with studio responsibilities.
Discretion, reliability, and the ability to work under pressure.
Technical knowledge of fashion processes (pattern making, garment construction, materials) is a strong advantage.
Outstanding illustration skills (mandatory)
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (mandatory).
A deep understanding of couture craftsmanship and material innovation.
Exceptional sense of for detail and precision.
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage shifting priorities.
