Luxe Talent, an international recruitment agency, is currently seeking a Senior Knitwear Programmer (M/F) based in Paris, on behalf of a leading Luxury Knitwear Company.

Job description

Reporting to the General Manager France, your responsibilities will include:

    • Designing knitting programs based on creative concepts provided by the design teams or clients.
    • Developing prototypes and swatches, and supporting the transition through to production.
    • Defining garment shapes, in collaboration with a knitwear pattern maker when needed.
    • Working closely with product managers to ensure prototypes align with the creative vision.
    • Proactively developing new stitches and techniques, contributing to the enrichment of the sample library and showcasing technical know-how.
    • Adapting knitting programs for industrial-scale production in coordination with the group’s factories and external partners.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in knitwear programming and possess expert-level skills on Stoll M1+ software. Familiarity with Create+ is a strong plus.

  • Hands-on and agile, capable of operating the machines alongside programming tasks.

  • Strong technical knowledge of knitwear, including yarns, knitting machines, stitch development, and quality control issues.

  • Creative, curious, and driven by innovation, yet also organized, detail-oriented, and practical—with a high standard for quality and excellence.

  • Fluency in English is mandatory to succeed in this international environment.

  • French language skills are a strong advantage for day-to-day collaboration with local teams.

Full-time, permanent position – role must be based in Paris (on-site).
