From Luxe Talent, International Recruitment and Training Consultancy specialized in Fashion, Luxury, Retail and FMCG, we are looking for a Global Business Development Manager, for one of our clients, an international textile company. The position is based in the north of Portugal (Braga / Porto).

In our recruitment and training consultancy we work with different firms in the Luxury, Premium and High Premium sectors around Europe and have offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Munich, Braga and Amsterdam.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION of the Global Business Development Manager:

Main Responsabilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities on a global scale.
  •  Develop and execute strategic business development plans.
  •  Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of business strategies.
  •  Conduct market research to identify industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
  •  Negotiate and close business deals to achieve revenue targets.
  •  Develop and manage a pipeline of business development opportunities.
  •  Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients and partners.
  •  Monitor and report on business development activities and results.
  •  Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote the company.
  •  Provide input on product development and marketing strategies based on market feedback.
  •  Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  •  Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and brand awareness.
  •  Identify and mitigate risks associated with business development activities.

Requirements

Mandatory:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior business development in the textile sector.
  •  Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese Native.

Skills and Qualifications:

  •  Proven track record of achieving business development goals.
  •  Strong understanding of international business practices and market dynamics.
  •  Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  •  Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  •  Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
  •  Strong organizational and time management skills.
  •  Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically.
