Job description

From Luxe Talent, International Recruitment and Specialised Training Consultancy, we are looking for a Production Manager to join a Premium Ladies Wear Brand based in the heart of London.

As a Production Manager, you will lead the production of two collections per year and manage continuity ranges, ensuring quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. Reporting directly to senior management, you will oversee costings, price negotiations, purchasing, dockets, quality control, and logistics while managing a full-time Production Coordinator.

  • Product Development:
  • Collaborate with the Designer to source and select fabrics for new collections.
  • Liaise with suppliers to manage fabric sampling, costings, and logistics.
  • Maintain detailed cost sheets and documentation for development samples.
  • Production Management:
  • Oversee the critical path to meet in-store launch targets.
  • Manage bulk production processes, including factory liaison, cloth and trim purchasing, and production cash flow.
  • Ensure quality control checks and smooth delivery of production orders.
  • System & Logistics Oversight:
  • Maintain seasonal setups on Sage, including BOMs, SKU generation, and pricing.
  • Coordinate shipping, stock allocations, and invoicing for store deliveries.
  • Retail Stock Coordination:
  • Monitor sales, manage in-fill stock orders, and oversee post-season returns.
  • Analyse sell-through and gather feedback to inform future collections

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in production management within the fashion industry.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in systems like Sage and Excel, a good understanding of fabric sourcing, costings, and quality control.
  • A proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
