Job description

From Luxe Talent, International Recruitment and Training Consultancy specialised in Fashion, Luxury, Retail, and FMCG, we are looking for an Expansion Manager to manage the Expansion strategy of this company in Spain and Portugal, and manage the current accounts within these countries. Please note that this role can be based in Madrid or Barcelona, ideally in Barcelona.

In our recruitment and training consultancy, we work with different firms in the Luxury, Premium, and High Premium sectors around Europe and have offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Lisbon and Munich.

Responsibilities as Expansion Manager:

  • Search and identification of suitable new store locations.
  • Managing and maintaining existing leases (including addenda or, in the case of long-term contracts, renegotiations.
  • Independent review, monitoring, and negotiation of lease agreements for existing and new properties
  • Preparation of meaningful location analyses
  • Intensive maintenance and establishment of contacts with brokers, center operators, landlords, and owners
  • Working hand to hand with the CEO and Country Manager to develop the best strategy for Spain and Portugal

Requirements

Requirements for this role:

  • Several years of relevant professional experience in the acquisition and negotiation of commercial properties, ideally in the fashion retail sector
  • Strong knowledge of the real estate market and an existing network in the Spanish and Portuguese market
  • Very good knowledge of local tenancy law
  • Business fluent in Spanish and English
  • High willingness to travel and car driving license
  • Availability to travel 50% of your time.
